The New York Forum Taskforces are small, highly interactive discussion groups facilitated by Partners of The Boston Consulting Group which build on the overall theme of “Committed to Growth.” Specifically, they focus on strategies to help companies anticipate and respond to changing internal and marketplace dynamics to propel them through uncertain times. Through the use of real-life examples, practical frameworks and team problem solving, these sessions will help participants think about these issues differently and better prepare their companies to get ahead of the competition.
The taskforces will be limited to a small number of participants each to ensure focused discussions and allow executives adequate time to interact with, and learn from, each other. The intent is to lead to actionable ideas by using small group dialogue to focus on specific issues and to develop less predictable approaches to help companies strategically adapt their businesses. The insights and action plans from these discussions will be woven together and presented in a conference plenary, as well as integrated into The New York Forum’s final report to the G20 Summit in September.
